Google Holiday 2014
For the holiday season 2014, we convinced Google to change their ‘I’m Feeling Lucky’ button to read ‘I’m Feeling The Holiday Spirit’, serving those that clicked up with a delightful, short-form video holiday card from Google.
After our team of 10 creatives designed, wrote, directed and edited over 200 pieces of pretty hilarious short video-cards in 30 days, our client decided to shift the goal of the project focus on highlighting Google’s philanthropic activities during the holiday season.
That shift in direction led to the creation of an entirely new set of short films, leaving our team with a massive stock of amazing content that didnt quite fit the brief on the cutting room floor. But how could we let all that content go to waste?
The solution: http://holiday-wholesale.net, a direct to consumer deadstock wholesale site where visitors could purchase our videos without a home for astronomical prices, with all the proceeds donated to the Children’s Cancer Association.
